Anyone interested in learning more about all those who served and died in Beirut from 1982-1984 are invited to come to the field at Lejeune Memorial Gardens (Next to the Beirut Memorial). There will be a brief program along with a time for reflection on Sunday October 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

We will be supporting the USO and U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment as they run in honor of the service members killed in Beirut. The program will include representatives from those that served in Beirut as well as families of those who died. They will share stories of remembrance and why they come to Jacksonville year after year to honor those who sacrificed for peace and freedom of the people of Lebanon.
