Darrell D. Helsley age 61 of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was born February 16, 1964, in Murphysboro, IL the son of Darrell and Beulah (Etherton) Helsley. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine from 1982 – 2002, honorably retiring a Gunnery Sergeant. Darrell went on to spend the next 20 years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office, serving the last 8 years as the Union President.
