Looking for something to do in September?  Come to Kokomo, Indiana the week or weekend of September 12th to the 18th.  This is a large gathering of veterans and family, at what is known as the healing field. Started as a Vietnam Veterans reunion, it turned into a reunion for all eras. There has been a group of Beirut Veterans gathering there for over 15 years. We camp with no power (I do have a generator) no water (other than what’s in the tanks) but wait, there is a campground 5 miles away with full hook-up if needed. Also, there are hotels in Kokomo. The grounds are 8 miles east of Kokomo on Highway 26. If you are interested, you can call me, Jeff Handy, at 765-438-4565. We prepare our meals at the camp site so we would need a count of how many to cook for. You can sit around the fire, or you can go up to the stage and listen to live entertainment.
